SEED Final Competition and Award CeremonyShanghai, ChinaThe finalists of the SEED Business Plan Competition will present to a judges panel made up of venture capitalists, scientists, industry executives and others. There will also be industry experts speaking on the industry and entrepreneurship. The event will end with the award ceremony, where a grand prize of RMB 300,000 will be announced. Three participants will also be awarded a SEED Winners Tour, an all-expense paid trip to the US, sponsored by BioCentury.

Over 220 attendees were present to see early stage biotechnology, diagnostics, medical device and services companies from the Pearl River Delta. There were also educational sessions on the state of the biotechnology industry and VC investment in China and Hong Kong from over 25 experts. Companies winning the Most Promising Company awards were Sinoasia (Guangzhou) and GeneHarbor (Hong Kong).
