From Bench to Market
Starting a company can appear to be a daunting challenge to most scientists, but the personal and financial rewards can be tremendous. SEED can help scientists take this first big step by providing a platform for emerging entrepreneurs to move their business concept from idea to reality. How to “Quan” VCs’ Money
Sun Tzu said, “If you know your enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.” In the battle of winning financing from VCs, an entrepreneur needs to know the VCs he or she is dealing with. What do the VCs care about in the company and the financing? How to present your business to appear more attractive to the VCs? OrbiMed Asia’s Jonathan Wang will tell you his insider’s views to help you answer these questions.
