Overview

You are invited to attend the FREE SEED Final Competition and Award Ceremony to be held on April 23, 2010 in Shanghai as the guest of our organizers Roche, OrbiMed, McKinsey, and presenter ChinaBio^® Accelerator.

SEED - Scientists to Entrepreneurs, Education and Development, is a life sciences and healthcare business plan competition created to develop and foster a community of scientists, healthcare professionals and entrepreneurs and create a platform for commercialization of life sciences and healthcare innovation in China. Created by Roche, OrbiMed and McKinsey , SEED will provide aspiring entrepreneurs with coaching and feedback from the leading players in China’s investment community and healthcare industry. The top prize will be over RMB 300,000.

During the SEED Final Competition and Award Ceremony, the finalists will present to a judges panel made up of venture capitalists, scientists, industry executives and others. There will also be industry experts speaking on the industry and entrepreneurship. The event will end with the award ceremony, where a grand prize of RMB 300,000 will be announced. Three participants will also be awarded a SEED Winners Tour, an all-expense paid trip to the US, sponsored by BioCentury.

Attendees will include the finalists, other entrants, government representatives, industry executives, venture capitalists and investors, delegates from the press and interested parties from life science companies and universities.

Event Format

This FREE one-day event will start with presentations from the organizers and other industry experts, and then all the finalists will make final presentations to the judge panel. This event will end with the Award Ceremony and closing reception.
