ChinaBio^® Leadership Retreat 2012

This exclusive, invitation-only event will attract over 150 senior executives from global pharmaceutical companies, western life science companies and China’s leading biotechs to Taicang to discuss and plan the future of the industry. Our goal is to make the ChinaBio Leadership Retreat a “must attend” annual event for executives with interests in China.

The overall objective of the Leadership Retreat will be to bring industry leaders together to shape the future of the industry in China and the world. This will be an open forum for discussing the issues facing the industry’s rapid growth in China and planning how organizations can best leverage that growth for success. Experts on industry leadership will lead the program with the intent of developing practical techniques and actionable tasks the delegates can put to immediate use in the management of their companies.

The primary venue for this event will be the magnificent, new Sheraton Four Points hotel located in the Taicang New Development Zone. Taicang is rapidly advancing in prestige and capability , and with over 2,200 foreign companies already located there, Taicang understands clearly how to meet the needs of multinational as well as domestic companies.

Taicang is also an excellent location for life science companies, addressing the needs of both R&D and manufacturing. Day One Summary

The first day of this two-day event will incorporate panels and workshops focused on understanding how to leverage China’s rise to become a significant contributor to the global life science industry. These will be interactive sessions led by industry consultants and thought leaders that will result in actionable tasks delegates can utilize to build their businesses and the industry in China.

The first day will end in a gala banquet in the beautiful Sheraton Four Points Hotel.

Day Two Summary

The morning will be the centerpiece of the event. It will be spent at the beautiful East Sea Golf & Country Club. The delegates can enjoy a round of golf on this championship course designed by world-famous golfer, Colin Montgomerie. This challenging 18-hole, par 72 course is considered to be one of the best designed in China.

After golf, there will be a closing reception held at the country club, where the delegates meet a final time to discuss the results of the Retreat’s activities and mingle with Taicang officials to plan the next steps for collaboration.
