More importantly, we have met with senior management and reviewed the specific capabilities of the 40 leading firms, giving us deep insight into the CRO/CMO landscape in China. 

We work closely with our clients to define the specific requirements for the study and help refine study designs to fit China's capabilities.  We then identify potential partners that have the ability to meet the study requirements and perform a capabilities review to ensure that the candidate CROs/CMOs meet the client's expectation.  Our team based in China can also assist with due diligence activities, saving our clients multiple trips to China.

Contract Assistance

Once the partner is selected, ChinaBio® can assist with contract negotiations.  Our team has negotiated over 30 outsourcing and services agreements for major pharma and biotechs, with contracts valued at up to $720 million USD.  And our bi-lingual team understands the subtleties involved in complex, cross-border, cross-cultural agreements, and can ensure that there is a solid business understanding between the parties. 

Project Execution

But the signing of the agreement is only the beginning - over the next few months or even years, ChinaBio® works with its clients to ensure that the study plan and execution delivers the quality data and products our clients' expect.  Our highly experienced team of CMC, pre-clinical and clinical experts based in the US brings deep expertise in planning and monitoring studies to ensure they meet global standards, while our on-the-ground project managers in China monitor the day-to-day project to ensure high quality delivery.
